Lina Scheynius

1981年スウェーデンに生まれる。

モデルとして活躍の後、写真家に転身。現在ロンドンを拠点に活動中。

『VOGUE』『AnOther』などへのコントリビューションを経て、『Die Zeit』ではフォトコラムを一年間連載。

2013年にはスイスにてヨーロッパ初個展を開催。

編集から出版までを自身で行う限定写真集も好評を得ており、今冬 7冊目を刊行。

As soon as we knew her name we could never forget it - trapped in her beautiful world.

そして個人的に気になったのを一部…

Union: How is it that your photos are so captivating?

If you were to explain 3 good points of your photos, what would they be?

Lina: I only use natural light or the flash that comes with my camera, so I am really flexible and fast.

I try to make the most of what is in my surroundings and close to me - photo graphing people I know and love or myself. And I have fun with it.

Union: You definitely use more landscape style for your photos, I don't see many portraits. Is there any reason for this?
Lina: That's just how I/we see the world. It's not tall and thin, but short and fat.

なるほど。

リナさんの写真はなんというか色が無いけれど色を感じる作品だな、と思っています。

実際瞳孔には映らないけど作品は持っているから感じてしまう、みたいな… うまく言えない…

端的に表面的に言うと、中間色がとてもきれい。

日記をつけるように自然に撮り続けているがゆえ作品タイトルがないというスタイルもすきです。
